Jill Stuart's fall 2011 collection had early hints of the impending 20s fashion revival. It had pleats and metallics and pretty flowing dresses - but if there was one thing that stayed in mind after you walked out of her New York fashion week show it was the folkish, woodland prints. Those wide-eyed owls that stared out at you in bold blocky colours, as if worked onto dresses in paint-by-numbers. Those burnt orange tones, forest greens, and sumptuous earthy hues. The best of both of those worlds, the flapper and the folk, were carefully chosen to feature in Stuart's fall 2011 ad campaign.
